About Me

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at Rowan University. I previously held the position of Research Assisant Professor in the Institute for Genomics and Evolutionary Medicine at Temple University, and I earned my Ph.D. in 2016 from the Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior graduate program at The University of Texas at Austin. My research interests broadly encompass computational molecular evolution, phylogenetics, and comparative genomics, and I have a strong interest in teaching and undergraduate education.
